This movie (and the year it was released) is now forty years old. That's older than than the gap between when the book was written and the year it was based upon! @RustyBertrand of course, despite the headline hype, there is more to it than that. They want to discourage pigeons and simply suggesting people don’t subsidise them in the middle of the city doesn’t work.
LeadNow.ca have a new Exec Director and have named 4 strategic goals. Now preparing to set up volunteer action groups on:
▪ climate change (timely actions as opp arises)
▪ housing affordability
▪ taxing corporations (windfall, profiteering, excess profits)
▪ fight for progressive values in the next federal election
I hope to work on the last one :-)
Of course all 4 overlap.
