In a note to employees on Thursday morning, Ms. Yaccarino said that “X is a platform for everyone” and that “discrimination by everyone should STOP across the board.” She said the company had been clear about its work to fight antisemitism and discrimination, and later shared a similar message on X.
She knows their owner endorsed this post, right? It’s coming from the inside Linda.

But she was worth somewhere in the low 8 figures before the deal, and compensation seems to be somewhere in the 5-10 mil range, including stock options (for the now private company that has lost most of its value).
I just can’t see it paying off better in the long term if she very publicly trashes her reputation.
After she was hired, someone suggested he specifically chose a woman in order to set up a misogynistic narrative when (not if) the site finally implodes.
She must have known on some level that he had no intention of doing anything different than what he is doing right now. She could not possibly have been told that there was an alternate path.
@w7voa Linda Yaccarino must have gotten one hell of a payday up front because I can't imagine trying to be CEO of that company while Musk just shoots his mouth off on a near daily basis in ways that massively destroy the company's ability to be remotely profitable.

Meanwhile, Twitter/X owner Elon Musk announced that on Monday the company will “be filing a thermonuclear lawsuit against Media Matters and ALL those who colluded in this fraudulent attack on our company.”
surely we have finally hit the point where the Xitter board has to step in or risk being considering negligent from a fiduciary responsible viewpoint...
