Hey it's me again, og members of this instance check my blog for hints.
I'm Rob, I have a thing for #flowers you can consider this my #introduction I guess. I use to use post news content, on here and other instances but lately i'm just looking more into #entertainment and #anime content. But with a catch, i'm torturing myself for a few months and my entertainment sources can only come from #peertube Meaning alot of the #content tends to be #fanmade#animations but you'd think there would be less, and less quality #contentcreators but shocked that there are some actual good content creators on Peertube.
surprisngly, Peertube actually works well for entertainment. and I have a way to make Peertube more accessible for people who just want to view #channels from Peertube but don't care about joining a #server .
"Stay tuned" for that.
Isn't that like what they used to say on the tv? Leaving it unedited.
oh and, can't tell you how much I apreciate the 3000 characters here.
If a #Telegram enthusiast could help me out with something.
Interested to know if there’s any technical or usability factors that would make you use Telegram over either another big tech offering (#WhatsApp, FB #Messenger) or another FOSS end to end encrypted service (#Signal, #Matrix). I’ve previously assumed that it was popular in Eastern Europe because it was made in the region, but don’t want to miss anything.
@spaceraser
One reason I know a lot of people use #telegram is the channels feature it has. There are channels for almost everything, right from sharing copyrighted content to educational material and news feeds. One of my use of telegram was to subscribe to some of the news #channels to get a quick view of the news. At least a lot folks around me use telegram for this purpose.
@technotramp could I share a little of your Unexpected Tracks as the music for my show this week? (I talk about lisps and smolnet community news, while sharing awesome underground music of people I meet). Is there a big ipfs music scene? You are the first one I encountered.
I'm enjoying Honeycomb -> Funky Cat right now. I once had some bubble gum from Japan that had the words "highly technical flavor" printed on the packaging which this puts me in mind of somehow
As far as the #IPFS community is concerned, I feel the same as you. I'll probably really be #one of the #first. #RPlayer is available for #free, but the #problem is that it's hard for a non-technical #person to make their own #player. You need to program some #tools, but I'll do it.
Hey #MSNBC! While you were going all in on your own player in your app so you could implement #DRM, you neglected to provide a RW, FF, or even a BUFFER if I choose to pause! You even couldn't implement a #PiP function that works correctly all the time!
Go back to the built-in #Apple player! It has that shit built in!
Just so everyone knows, when they did this, they disabled #TVEverywhere! They also enabled #DRM across ALL of their O&O channel lineup!

So speaking of #channels ... who thinks this would make sense:
A button / option in the post authoring window to post not the general timeline/followers but a particular channel, from, say, a list of the ones you follow?
