Das ist wirklich, wirklich schade. Das MMO hat mich nie interessiert, aber das Afrofantasy-Setting #Wagadu für #DnD 5e ist sehr besonders und ich hatte auf mehr gehofft. Alas my halfling thief "Foo Shoe" died at the hands of WRAITHS! But he died rich with his thumbs up cause he had a significant chunk of the party treasure! The other players will have to face an extra, very short, wraith next time!
I got my Kickstarter PDF copies of Tales of the Valiant from @KoboldPress. I am hoping this will replace #DnD5e for me. I cannot wait to ready the final version.

maybe this is a hot take, but i think having broad weapon proficiency makes sense for fighters and maybe monks.
pretty much every one else that gets weapon proficiencies should be choosing one or two weapons that they've trained with, and they should need to re-train over a week or more before being proficient with something else.
The two things that I personally feel have always been terrible about the design of #DnD are the class-based character development system and the Vancian magic system.
These systems irrationally limit the choices players can make in designing and developing their PCs, and TSR/WotC/Hasbro has missed so many opportunities to do away with these systems over the past 50 years.
But, they can be fixed, within the existing framework of #Dnd5E. (more)
