@ainmosni@janettespeyer The third one at āTopography of Terrorā (memorial site at former Gestapo headquarters) is also āWest Berlinā. Worth a visit, next to exceptional museum āGropius-Bauā if you looking for contemporary art.
š« During our outage this morning, people attempting to connect with Flipboard.Social found that we were declaring ourselves to be a teapot. Here's the origin of the unusual internet error message. Tell us, were you familiar with it?
Hi folks, you may have noticed that we had an outage for a couple of hours this morning on our app, website and instance. We are back online now and hopefully things should be back to normal, but please bear with us if there are any issues for the next while.
Thereās a new playbook being written right now when it comes to the future of social media. The early-mover advantage is still in effect, and thereās a lot to figure out. Gone are opaque algorithms and the whims of any single company.
The fediverse represents a chance for quality journalism to shine again.
We talked to two leaders at fedi-forward publications ā @TheConversationUS's @BostonAbrams, and @404mediaco's @jasonkoebler ā about why theyāre investing in the open social web, what theyāve learned so far, and their advice for other publishers just getting started.
We'd love to get the #NewstodonFriday hashtag going again. This, as far as we can remember, was started by @gbhnews, and is an initiative to feature work from newsrooms that have an active presence in the #fediverse
If you're a news organization, share your handle and your favorite story of the week in the comments to this! And if there's a publication in the fediverse that you love, let us know about that in the comments too.

I have questions: 1) What does Item 1 look like? For example, we could change the tax code to more strongly benefit nonprofits and the donors/subscribers who support them, but what else? 2) Who would do the ratings, and what are the odds that if it's, say, academics, that MAGAts would take the ratings seriously? 3) Re Item 4, when you say that politicians should "phase out" Agenda journalism, do you mean no longer talk to those outlets, or what? Thanks! @BostonAbrams@404mediaco
@molly0xfff is a leading cryptocurrency critic, but get to know her and youāll see sheās anything but cynical about the future of the web. Hear why this researcher, writer and software engineer thinks so in this fascinating conversation with @mike:
