In the week after the Laravel 11 release I released a new version for #GitLab webhooks receiver for Laravel and GitLab Models for Laravel.

Both releases did only add the #Laravel11 support for this #PHP packages.

It would be nice if would stop misidentifying freely licensed projects as having a non-free license (with no way to turn off the automatic detection, or hide the incorrect license badge).

Nice website, and lotsa interesting info.

I have some points of feedback..

You have the site section of "Github Repositories" with a couple of entries there. However, in the text the hyperlinks aren't styled and can hardly be recognized. More importantly imho these pages should prominently link to the repo from where the text is taken, esp. for the ones that are licensed.

Other than that, why -only? How about or if some info is found there?

Gitlab has a backlog item for enabling support.

There isn't a lot of consistency in this stuff yet, don't know if they'll conform to what is designing, or just aim for "can subscribe in Mastodon"

(really, they should be supporting both)

Just found out that on one can add a + to an issue or MR link, making the preview show the whole title. I.e. instead of "" you get "Some thing is broken ()" - if you write "+"

So if you don't know, now you know 🤷

Managed to get Gitlab running PHP unit tests.

All the examples get you to copy a bash file and install dependencies in each run (e.g. https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/ci/examples/php.html#test-php-projects-using-the-docker-executor) so I made a Docker image with them pre-built.

Took job down from 45 seconds to ~3 seconds.

The docker images are open source:

(Yes the docs need updating...)

I think it's telling that #GitHub, #GitLab, and even #Forgejo all don't have a workflow for "renew an #OpenPGP key", i.e. extend its validity before (or after) expiry. On all of them, you have to delete and re-add the key. It's as if nobody is following OpenPGP best practices and everyone is using keys without an expiry date.
