"Christopher Nolan's explores the work of physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer & colleagues to create the atomic bomb.

Yet, the film fails to depict a key part of the story, using 2 female scientists as stand-ins for ALL of the women who contributed."

Hundreds of women were essential to the Manhattan Project, including Nobel Prize winning physicist Maria Goeppert Mayer. But they are largely absent in the .

More and more people are buying physical DVD/Blu-ray media.

I have been saying for some time, you can't depend on streaming services to keep your favorite shows available.

Same for music.

Oppenheimer's Christoper Nolan encouraged fans to embrace "a version you can buy and own at home and put on a shelf so no evil streaming service can come steal it from you."

"Oppenheimer" is nominated for 13 Oscars this year and Christopher Nolan is a frontrunner for Best Director. Here's @IndieWire ranking of his entire filmography, from his debut in 1998 to today. Which of his 12 movies is your favorite (this poll is in order of IndieWire's preference, with "Dunkirk" as the publication's top pick)?

Everyone is talking about the new movie but I have a feeling many don't even know about the mini-series 'Manhattan'

It's a really good one about the Project, maybe a little too much drama but it gives a good picture

Not sure where to stream but :torrent: always work :catblush:

While the ads were playing in the theater yesterday, before started, the front row had 6 boys that were probably 15/16yrs old

I got shocked at how they used the phone: they all kept switching between TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat in a matter of seconds, frantically.

One would open tiktok, watch a video for 2 seconds, quickly switch to Instagram, click a story, while the other do the same in seconds in Snapchat, etc.

Now I understand what "short attention span" means.

You can totally see without seeing first. You may miss out on the sideplot involving some crossover characters, but the main plot is still very entertaining.

As both a personal as well as professional curiosity it’s always interesting to see how many tickets a film sells. $$ amounts rarely affect my decsion to see a flick. That said, I’m in the business of producing live theatre so ticket sales do matter.

Beyond that, in my personnel viewing it’s been about helping me guess how quickly a film will make it to digital.

Yesterday I watched . It is as good as everyone says. There is a 5 minute piece in there that I would love to be public shareable in a couple of weeks or so.It's so important that people should see that 5 minutes even if they don't feel to watch a full movie.

Next week I will do in Imax. And with my Barbie Ticket I got enough points to watch that one for free 🎉.
