@briannawu I think what the folks on #TWiT 972 were ignoring (re:TikTok) was NOT just the dissemination of US citizens’ data to foreign companies (like data brokers do), but the ability for those foreign companies to influence - in a direct way by showing you different videos, etc - in the app itself. They directly control what we see based on data they get from us! Dangerous!

Elon Musk has started an electric-vehicle price war that Tesla can't finish.
Under increasing pressure from new competition, Tesla spent the past year slashing the average price of its models by roughly 25%. The Model 3 fell from $48,000 to $44,380. The luxury Model S, meanwhile, plunged from a high of $130,000 to $96,380. The cars, as they say, have been priced to move.

Well, no transparency, only one pianist has a horn, the badgers are not badgers, and in one case has horns, and in one case is missing altogether. One of the pianos is rather odd.

I just have to say I loved the most recent episode of #TWiT so much I’ve watched it 3 times now. Having @leo joined by an all in-studio panel was so awesome! Reminded me of the old days. Love it!
