The risk here is the company will not have the liquidity to pay on the bond when demanded, and the beneficiary of this bond, the #NewYorkAG, may not have a direct claim against the reinsurer. That the reinsurer is in the #CaymanIslands compounds this issue as it is a non-U.S. jurisdiction with problematic banking transparency laws, which makes collection very difficult. The bond issued may ultimately be worthless.
This dumbshit apparently believes there won't be any consequences for brazenly, and publicly violating the #gagOrder issued by Judge #JuanMerchan in the federal #hushMoney case about to begin in #NewYork. I think he's about to find out that reality is different from whatever the hell is going on between his greazy, orange ears.
#Trump, lookin like he just stepped off the set of the latest #Wonka movie, is really upset by the idea that he could be forced to sell off properties to pay the massive #civilJudgments against him. The sense of entitlement this guy displays is cartoonishly preposterous, and I can't believe this is what American life has become.

Former #hillbilly author turned senator, #JDVance, has rendered his judgement that #Trump's convictions don't count because he's being prosecuted by blue state prosecutors, and judged by blue state juries. Trump’s many other crimes should not let anyone lose sight of the fact that he raped Jean Carroll. A jury found that unanimously, and now a judge has reaffirmed it clearly and forcefully.

@JamesGleick I don't know how the media forgot that a woman who had been trafficked as a child by Jeffrey Epstein was suing Trump during his campaign for raping her. Mysteriously, she dropped the lawsuit. Trump is a mafia criminal who has openly fantasized about sex with his daughter, including while she was a child.
