Let’s start off with fact that #JusticeAlito needs to #resign immediately. It’s reported Alito was flying upside down flag outside his house after #January6. He responded by blaming his wife. This is absolutely ridiculous. Alito & #ClarenceThomas made our #SupremeCourt an abomination. They take straight up bribes from people who they are hearing cases from, go on lavish trips w them and have absolutely no #accountability whatsoever. Supreme Court needs term limits. https://www.dworkinsubstack.com/p/alito-and-thomas-made-supreme-court

So the justices seem to confuse violence with noise. Planes make noise, traffic makes noise, peaceful protesters often make noise- none of these disruptions come with the intent and means to use violence to kill. When protesters show up with weapons and start murdering people that would trigger the violence standard. Like . Heckling at a SOTU address is not violence unless your wittle snowflake ears start bleeding when you hear someone else’s opinion, then you’ve got a case.🩸🩸

The meaning of "obstruction" is ..... obstruction. Even United States Supreme Court justices ought to be able to get it. Reasoning this through should not take a lot of work.

January 6 rioters want the Supreme Court to let them off the hook from obstruction charge

The Supreme Court will hear arguments Tuesday from a former Pennsylvania police officer who stormed the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, in a case that could undermine federal charges against more than 350 rioters. 👀

The court’s decision could also have significant ramifications for former President Trump, who was charged with the same criminal offense. 😱

Food for thought, don't think too long though:

There is a difference between telling both sides of stories, and hedging your bets.
Some once respected news outlets have been hedging their bets when reporting on fascists.
If the fascists succeed, those same softball throwing talking heads will be replaced along with those who called out lies with hard facts.
The strings of nepotism would then be controlled by new puppeteers. Nip it in the bud.

Peter Navarro is due to report to a federal prison on Tuesday after an appeals court ruled that his appeal wasn’t likely to overturn his conviction for refusing to cooperate with a congressional investigation into the attack that Trump supporters aimed at the US Capitol in 2021.

Per the House Investigation environmental lawyer, Jeffery Clark was appointed by the criminal defendant as the US Attorney General. It’s an incredibly damning fact about the leadup to insurrection —and for some reason it’s been whitewashed.

Oddly, the very same thing was done to Trump’s appointment of admitted election crimes felon Sidney Powell as “Special Counsel to the White House.”

White House call logs from Jan. 3, 2021 show Trump spoke by phone with Clark four times that day. The first three times, from around 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., the logs identify Clark as “Mr. Jeffrey Clark.” The fourth time, at around 4:17 p.m. — two hours before the fateful Oval Office meeting — they list him as “Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Clark.”
