@w7voa Not convinced would conduct a fair debate. With all the free campaign airtime they give tRump in the courthouse, it makes me wonder if they really do want another tRump presidency.👀 Perhaps they're hoping to become our state tv in the new dictatorship. Okay, I'm cranky. Anyway, it's a no-win for Biden. Damned if he does debate, damned if he doesn't. I dream of a world where we never have to hear or see from TFG ever again.

@GottaLaff @emptywheel The only way to fix this is for the People to rise up and VOTE!. Vote everywhere. Vote out every MAGA Republican in the House, the Senate, governor seats, State AG, all down the ballot. The People need to take control by using their vote. Then change laws, and impeach a few SCOTUS justices, expand the court, fix the Electoral College. Bring back America. Is this a long shot? Yep. But we are capable of doing hard things.

Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973. I was 10 years old. Put in perspective the fact that until I was 10, abortion was illegal. So, I began my life without bodily autonomy. I had it from ages 10 - 60, and now I’m back at square one, without any. This RIGHT didn’t even exist for one person’s entire lifetime.

@StillIRise1963 I was 17. It was a relief to know my girlfriend and I would have choices should we have the misfortune of an unwanted pregnancy. Then, in my 30s, I had a daughter who I thought would have choices/rights. Now our rights are being eroded. It's little solace that my nurse friend told me to tell my daughter that she knows people (drs & nurses in OBGYN). Really? Is that the best I can hope for her?

@GottaLaff So many people assume states like CA, OR, and WA are "safe" blue states. While the odds are fairly good that they will remain mostly in the D column, we should not get complacent. Here in OR, there is strong support for the tRump party. Most of it is in the more rural areas, but it feels like it's creeping into our suburbs. My brother in WA has noticed this in his area as well. It's frightening. WTH is wrong with people?!🤦‍♀️ Safe travels. For everyone else, don't despair.

@GottaLaff What I find interesting is how all the GOP tRump defenders on MSM keep saying he was referring to the auto industry and an economic impact. BS! Anyone who has ever listened to TFG rant knows his thoughts are disjointed and he flits from one lie to another with little concern of continuity of subject. @GottaLaff I am a big fan of the block button. My 81 yr old hubby thinks it's rude. Seriously? It's social media. Who the f cares? Nothing says you must tolerate certain opinions on social media. Yay for blocking. Sometimes, I change my mind and unblock people. It's sorta like giving some accts a time out period. 🤣🤣

@GottaLaff I'm less concerned about polls that may be greatly flawed than people thinking their vote is not actually private & secure, then being intimidated to vote a certain way due to personal safety. Didn't find out until my mother's later yrs that (unbeknownst to my controlling father) she didn't always vote the way he thought she did. 😁 I pray women vote to preserve and reclaim our rights from the Christian taliban.

@GottaLaff In addition, it is not just US positions that are critical. It's ALL of the down ballot. School board members, mayors, sheriffs, local judges, governors, state representatives & state senators. In many parts of the country, it looks like they are rejecting MAGA world. But in other parts? 😬 Not so sure. Keep educating, and vote!

When I was a kid, my mom made a new rug out of an old one for me. She turned over a rug she no longer wanted and used rug glue to attach rug samples in a patch quilt type of way. It's was really cute and it's
still there.

*Back then, rug samples were free.

@GottaLaff The fact that she has virtually been silent about the accusations suggest there may be some there there. 👀 Having a relationship with co-counsel is ill-advised but not illegal. More importantly, I hope the suggestion of misuse of govt funds is BS. It would be unfortunate if that is true since it might not change the facts of the case, but it could cause many to question the reliability of the facts, perhaps. 😬

@GottaLaff tRump has posted numerous (probably 9+) screenshots of EJCarroll's past tweets & interview excerpts going as far back as 2010. It would seem to be a blatant attempt to paint her as unstable, a liar, and out to get him. I'm no lawyer, but I suspect most (if not all) of this was disallowed in court as it lacks relevancy to the specifics of the case. So he taints the jury pool as only someone with a huge megaphone can.

@GottaLaff The pregnant daughter of a good friend was told by her healthcare provider that she needed to take care when traveling to/thru states (such as Texas, Idaho, etc) because if she had complications she may be at the mercy of draconian laws regarding her and her child. Warnings on traveling within the states. Smh.
