Went for a restorative walk in the sunshine yesterday. Blue sky, green leaves, buzzing bees and bird song. Not bad.

A photo looking upwards into a tree with a dense mesh of moss & lichen covered branches, and fresh green leaves, with a blue sky beyond. There is a bird on the central branch, a willow tit I think, , looking to the right.
Two almost identical photos looking upwards on a still bare but budding very tall tree, with a blue sky beyond. In the centre is the underside of a goldfinch. In the first photo it is in focus, looking left. In the second the focus has drifted as it looks down and gives me a stare.

And this blue tit might have stretched the zoom on my camera to its limit by sitting at the top of a very tall tree, but I managed to finish the walk with a boop.

There was a brief conversation about booping the hogs yesterday, but I felt it was a bit of a cheat to boop a nose you'd drawn yourself.

I should have left it there, but when I was sorting files I thought "maybe I could make it more difficult somehow, and therefore not a cheat".

So anyway, have a blindfolded double-boop because for a split-second that made sense to me, and that's all it needs sometimes.

My other new-thing-to-me today was the hashtag which pleasingly led me to 1. seeing lots of sheep and 2. learning a Welsh word.

Anyhow, I found a sheep on the way to that last dragonfly pic so... you know... I couldn't resist.

Look, it's been a long week, OK.

It could be worse, I could have posted it as a really, really, tall still image.

Short animation scrolling up a very tall still image. There is grass against a blue sky, with a simple drawn figure holding a ladder. As the image pans up we see the ladder against the sky. It is quite tall. Eventually a giraffe's neck leans into the image from the left, and at the top of the ladder is another wee figure leaning in to boop its nose. The giraffe looks to camera, mouth open, outraged.

It was finally dry enough to get some proper gardening done this afternoon. Shattered now, but did have some pleasing feathered visitors while I was out there.

Also one of our regular wood pigeons, who I am very fond of, although less so today as they are prime suspect in the investigation to find out who crapped in the bird bath within 5 minutes of it being cleaned and refilled.

Very patchy weather today, but popped into the garden during a moment of sunshine and a pigeon was sunning itself in the tree and looking very fetching.

And boopable, obviously.
