Christopher Nolan wants to make a Bond movie, and producer Barbara Broccoli is on the hunt for a new head honcho. "Give him the keys, you cowards!" says GQ's Jack King. Here's why he thinks Nolan's the perfect person to reinvent the series (ideally, with Cillian Murphy as Bond). What do you think?

"Oppenheimer" is nominated for 13 Oscars this year and Christopher Nolan is a frontrunner for Best Director. Here's @IndieWire ranking of his entire filmography, from his debut in 1998 to today. Which of his 12 movies is your favorite (this poll is in order of IndieWire's preference, with "Dunkirk" as the publication's top pick)?

Just had the chance to finally watch Inception on the big screen, at the Zoo Palast . A dream became true. 🥺
It’s still my favorite movie of all time. An incredible piece of art. An unparalleled story.

By the film's end, I was in the mood for either the more biting Dr. Strangelove or the more haunting Twink Peaks: The Return.

In the film there's this shot of where Oppenheimer is supposed to have met Heisenberg. The camera moves towards the University of Zurich (UZH) even though the Polytechnic University (now called ETH Zürich), where also Albert Einstein studied, and where I would have expected a talk by Werner Heisenberg to have taken place, is the building on the left.

Does anybody know if Heisenberg's talk took place at UZH instead of ETH?

Paprika, Satoshi Kon's final film as a director. It's a feature length anime released in 2006, based on a 1993 sci-fi novel by Yasutaka Tsutsui.

Wondering if the novel or the film may have influenced Christopher Nolan's screenplay for Inception...

Having reached the end of the 's 1980 drama on the life of Robert I can thoroughly recommend it for anyone interested in a detailed and I think accurate account of his role in the development of the atomic bomb and everything connected with it.

I'd be interested if anyone can contrast it with 's movie.

But it’s not. It’s in 🇫🇷 and I just wish everyone spelled the name the French way: 🇫🇷

Then it’s clearly French and not like someone squished together 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Chris Nolan may have wanted a spectacular explosion in Oppenheimer, but the intimacy is what really gives this movie it’s biggest boom.

And I’m not talking about the sex.

was excellent. Was glued to the screen throughout the entire . Im glad was able to climb out of his ass and tell us a more straightforward story for this one. The pacing was very well done. I expected it to be much more intense and hard to watch than it actually is. Its more concerned with humanizing Oppenheimer than trauma porn. I didnt know all of Hollywood was in the cast lol. was exceptional. Seeing this morning. Cant wait!
