"They need to apologize to my daughter & her family. They should not treat people with a disability this way whatsoever," Palituq told CBC, in #Inuktitut.

The focus will be on health checks that assess individuals’ eligibility for disability benefits such as personal independence payment and “fit for work” tests that qualify claimants for the disability elements of Universal Credit.
Far from meeting the expectations of #disability organizations – along with any of the scenarios presented by the PBO – the #GovernmentOfCanada has instead created a #CDB with a maximum annual support level of $2,400/person.
