Okay, my fellow #dnd nerds: what are some good #DNDBeyond alternatives that work on iPhone? I make pretty much constant tweaks to characters throughout the day, so mobile access is a must.
Haven't had a chance to show that off yet, I got it during a recent work trip to Poznan: the Dungeons & Lasers NPC Miniature Pack. It has 68 miniatures and was quite cheap fir that amount of content (their website gives me a 59€ price)
It's a Polish company, which makes stuff easier to get for me (and EU customers) than the usual British miniature companies.
Of course it claims it's compatible with 5e #DND, which begs the question: how did you determine that?
Da das Vereinswochenende mit dem Rubicon e.V. ansteht, hier schon einmal ein Hinweis auf eine #pnpde Veranstaltung rund um #dnd in #Münster am 6. Mai 2023.
So, im not following this too closely, as I’m moving away from #dnd, but from what I gather from my timeline, it appears that #OneDND is basically just a bunch of rearranging and no actually improvements. There’s no upside in going along with it, aside from avoiding the risk that WotC is going to discontinue legacy support on #DnDBeyond, correct?
What this boils down to is a scenario where the community is forced to shell out tons of money to get new versions of books we already own.

Something I wonder whether the #DnD developers at #WotC have given any thought to: One of the nice things about having subclass features staggered across classes, as they are now, is that when PCs reach those subclass feature levels, you can use those moments as roleplaying interludes. Trying to straitjacket all the classes into the same subclass progression means those interludes are all going to clump up, rather than being distributed evenly across your campaign.
Carrionettes go “zip!” when they move, “bop!” when they stop, “whirrrrrrr” when they stand still, and they want to steal your body and trap your soul in theirs! Ha ha! How cute!
In fact from style and design to me this does not look like a DSA adventure, this looks more like a contemporary #ADnD module.
And not TSR #DnD either.
This has the feel of a Mayfair Games' Role Aids scenario. Which easily could have been the model considering the time frame.
Ryybyn may be 2 kool 4 skool but they are never too cool for the stickers Alison lovingly makes for them.
During the campaign, Alison's player would make "certificated of excellence" celebrating some each player had done each session. It was really fun and cute so I wanted to make an illustration in tribute to them all!
Any moment now a fun podcast/vidcast with the Cutting Edge Cosplay crew and me talking about sports in genre fiction / #ttrpg / #dnd is coming out. It was quite fun to nerd out with those women, and most are going to join me at a Sounders game later this year.
Fanboys: Oh yeah Hasbro's learned their lesson and are less evil now.
Hasbro: Hires the actual motherfucking Pinkertons to steal Magic cards from people at gunpoint.
