I wanted to draw a picture with a background again. I keep forgetting how satisfying it is to finish an artwork that requires more work than a simple character drawing. I was inspired for this picture by various other illustrations and photos on the internet.
This cute fox in the forest will be available as an unique #1 of 1 print on 30x40cm alu-dibond for auction at Eurofurence con!
I've turned this little guy into a patio regular with food, confirmed with the neighbors that he's feral, and borrowed a humane trap from a local charity.
He's totally right to be giving me stink eye. I intend to take him for neuter surgery, shots, worming and other un-fun things in the near future. Wish me luck!
We moved Sandy into the foyer this morning. It's 21F now and it will be 15F tonight. It's 56F in the foyer, which is fine with him. He has a litter pan (which he may or may not use), a bed with a self-warming pad, food, and water. I'm just glad he's safe.
This is Marge and Fritz, two of six feral cats that have shown up over the last couple years. We built an area on the back porch where they can sleep and eat. They've all been spayed and neutered and these two particularly like each other 😺🧡😺 #feral#cat
Caramel, one of The Gathering, doesn’t grumble as much and now meows more. He also now knocks on the deck door in the morning-or maybe bitts it. I’m not sure which but there is a knocking sound when I go down. He still needs to get to the vet.
I'm matcha, a tiny self-taught artist with a disability. Because of my physical impairments and dementia-type struggles, I'm having a hard time with traditional jobs. I've worked very hard to get myself out of an abusive situation recently and making money from my art will help me live safely.
I want to sell my art, because it's one thing I can still do very well even with my circumstances! I would love to make art of your anthro characters if you give me a chance :D
I've just finished reading Feral. I'll admit I felt it was just a tad pretentious to start, but the concept of rewilding won me over.
In many ways it matches my own feelings and ideas about the natural world.
I would highly recommend Feral to anyone who has any interest in the nature and ecology of our seas and forests.
4,5/5 stars 😁
Not a great photo - the light was a bit too much and he won't sit still for long periods of time, so it's hard to focus.
However, here's Sandy, our favorite former feral on top of the little refrigerator we were going to get rid of. Sandy has claimed it for his own and now lies on it when the weather is not too hot. You can find him here most mornings and late evenings.
I was going through my catalog and noticed the light on these three feral horses and thought it looked pretty nice. These ponies were south of Fernley, Nevada. (Note: These ponies are not Carter Reservoir Spanish mustangs that I usually post. Photo: 5/7/2017.)
just seen 2 cute russian blue or british blue #kittens trapped in my bin this morning when I was putting out recyclables, they are #feral the way they reacted, they ate my partly cooked fish when my air oven/fryer died, must have went raiding my bin after thinking there was food but they got trapped so i let them out and they ran like hell the little cuties.
Spring is finally here!!! The sun is warm, the trees are budding, and other little creatures are out and enjoying the weather too. I just want to spend all day outside 🌸🍃
When all you hear is wind, you can hear it move through the jungle, the sound takes shape bc of the terrain and foliage. Much easier to visualize wind patterns when you can hear it bouncing off and moving thru the jungle at many different altitudes. Kind of the way wind can whip thru a canyon, except softer, so this is more wind shaped than rock shaped. #junglelife#naturebaby#feral
