Just spotted this gem in the NYTimes on the court case from a true expert on 'democracy':
Mr. Putin last year called the various proceedings against Mr. Trump political “persecution” and said they had revealed the “rottenness of the American political system, which cannot pretend to teach others about democracy.”
His spokesman, Dmitri S. Peskov, reiterated the point on Friday in response to the verdict, saying it was clear to the entire world that the U.S. authorities were trying to eliminate political rivals “by all possible legal and illegal means.”
"Together with the Prime Minister of Norway, Jonas Har Stere, we signed the Agreement on cooperation in the field of security and long-term support - already the 15th for our country.
This year, Norway will provide almost 1.2 billion euros in military aid to Ukraine.
Thank you to Norway for supporting Ukraine in our struggle for freedom and a just peace."
"SBU Drones Destroyed $100 Million Russian Radar System in Crimea
Sources from Ukraine’s special services told Kyiv Post about the latest successful SBU operation, which has rendered Russian air defenses in Crimea “blind.”"
"The Kremlin told reporters on Friday that Donald Trump’s guilty verdict was proof that all legal and illegal means were being used in the United States to get rid of political rivals”, Reuters is reporting.
Putin commenting about "getting rid of political rivals" in other countries?! 🤣 🤣 🤣
@Free_Press
Thank you. What is going on in Gaza is horrible, but a a helluva lot more people have died, been displaced, etc., as a result of Putin's brutality toward Ukraine.
The same people that are losing their minds over Gaza, never said a word when Bashar al-Assad murdered a half a million of his own people.
My fervent wish is that at the end of this chapter, Ukraine joins NATO and and the people can feel safe.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will propose that member states allocate at least 40 billion euros annually to finance military aid to Ukraine, according to Reuters, citing a source in the Alliance.
