For the past few months, I've been working on the Blackberry Sweater pattern from Kristen TenDyke. This was my first time doing a tubular bind-off and I might have over estimated the amount of yarn I'd need to finish off the body. But finish it I did and I decided to take a pic. The good news is that I have feline approval. The bad news is that I may never get the second sleeve done. #CatsOfMastodon#cat#knitting#sweater
Just a few more rows until I put the sleeve stitches on hold. I don’t usually make top-down sweaters, but this one is working up nicely. I changed pattern to rolled neckline.
Yesterday, I finished this cropped jumper. It needs blocking because the bottom edge keeps curling up.
I made this with various sockweight yarns, but with 2 strands together and using 6mm needles.
I may turn it into a cardigan by steeking up the front like I did with my snowflake jumper, but I will see how it fares as a jumper before I make a permanent change!
It's my last work day of the year, so I decided to don my iconic Ugly Christmas Sweater. This was the first one I ever got for myself that I debuted at work about 4 years ago to many snickers and giggles. It's such a silly sweater, so I just had to finish out strong with it.
Another Friday in December, another amazing Ugly Christmas Sweater!
This week it's my fantastic Aldi sweater I found. It's from a few years back and, honestly, I found at an off-price Department Store (Gabe's) out of season. It was...a surprising find, but I love it.
Knitting friends! This may align with your interests— @scifri did a deep dive on the science of why today's mass-produced sweaters are kind of garbage compared to those of a few decades ago.
Of course, this only confirms what we already knew: Handknit sweaters are the best sweaters.

Here’s the story. You know this cute neighbour but you never had the courage to talk to her. Today she’s locked out of her house and waiting in the cold winter for a locksmith. You had no choice but to invite her home for some tea. Little did you know, the next hot thing to happen wouldn’t be a beverage...
Intentionally visible repairs on moth attacked sweater. Next time they show up there is a bee to fend them off. Cute patches make sweaters last longer. #repair#clothes#sweater#bees#visibleMending
