If all #VideoGames were offered as free OR paid on Steam, how would you prefer them? Would you prefer to play all games for free or would you prefer to pay for them to have them delivered to you via Steam? Note: Free ones are installed solo. No launcher, no achievements, no cloud save, no friends list, no Steam year-in-review, no hours played counter, no Steam Workshop, no Steam cards, no game decorations in Steam points shop, but you don't have to pay for any game, ever.
It took me forever to cobble together a blog post today... but I finally finished it. There have been a lot of think pieces posted lately about #PathOfExile#Necropolis league and whether or not it was "bad". I dive into some of my thoughts about the subject and end up writing my own rather lengthy think piece... further adding to the problem.
My kid has been unwell for 2 years (Long Covid), & watching her dealing with so many ups and downs & pacing herself whilst still learning & creating has been so impressive. She's doing well as a beekeeper, and now she's working with a friend to make Fortnite creative maps.
If you or your kids play Fortnite (the game is rated age 10 and up), search 'Slime Tycoon' for the most chill, fun, and wholesome gameplay experience.
Oh lovely, helpful people of the internet. I am Natalie Imbruglia'd (torn). Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun, or XCOM 2. I love both of these games, and one of them will be streaming tonight at https://twitch.tv/pixelbandits.
Flying a drone over this mess... I won't show you the drone itself, because now it's just a sphere. I haven't thought about the design yet. The drone will have a lot of mechanics, I hope... Now there is only movement gameplay and flashlight 🤖😘
Hey all! 👋🏼 It’s #introdction time! My name is Hannah and I want to share a little about myself:
I’m a #wife (my hottie husband is @alex ) and a #mom of 3 awesome boys 🐻🐻🐻
I’m a co owner of Markley Bros. Entertainment and a cast member on our #dnd show Ember Fables! I #homeschool my kids and drink enough #coffee to fuel a small army ☕️
It appears that I'm not the only one to make the connection between Batman: Arkham Asylum's oversized moon and Majora's Mask. Someone took the time to make a mod for it!
Some more incredible games on my playlist today. A little retro gaming and a little virtual reality! Though Resident Evil in VR still scares the PANTS Off me.
I take some small credit for the naming of No Man's Sky's latest expedition, Adrift.
When I was still active in the No Man's Sky community I referred to the pre-Foundation version of the game as Adrift, because it preceded the shift to settler/colonist gameplay that Foundation introduced.
The expeditions in No Man's Sky were the real answer to the community requests for a more dynamic universe, in my opinion.
A compromise between those wanting a universe that changed according to underlying simulation, a difficult task, and those wanting continuations of the game's light storytelling but with more unique missions.
I think it clearly worked for enough people, but it wasn't for me. Too live service, too MMO-esque.
Castle of Illusion was mad but so much fun. I remember being in hospital for an extended period back in the early 90s, and this (and Ecco the Dolphin) really helped me through! One for the Retro Gaming fans here.
I’m having way too much #RetroGaming fun with this Miyoo Mini+. Installed #OnionOS this morning which adds so many useful features. Nice theme switcher where I found a fave, which you can see in the video.
Also got hooked up with RetroAchievements, a website that creates and tracks achievements in these old #videogames. This was $70 well spent and I’m just getting started! (Literally… with the original Legend of Zelda)
Let's all comment below with what our day has in store for us today or what we've already gotten done today.
For me, I only have 5 hours left of work for the day with a meeting from 2 - 3pm and then I'm done for an entire week as I'll be heading to Myrtle Beach, SC for vacation with the wife and the family!
Just some video games throughout the day and evening tonight!
Morning Folks! Last night I waded into the scary world of the Group Finder tool in #WorldOfWarcraft#PandariaRemix and found it to be a mixed bag. The first three normal raids were super smooth and I knocked them out in rapid succession. Then I spent the next hour failing to get into either a Throne of Thunder or Siege of Orgrimmar raid.
