I've just realised it's been about a week since I sold my Xbox Series X and I can't say I've missed it all that much.
My Steam Deck OLED has done a better job of keeping me entertained, having a bigger library, and the games being generally cheaper. Sure, the games aren't like 4K ULTRA MEGA HD or whatever, but it's fine - I can easily cope with playing Balatro for the rest of my life.

As much as I love my Xbox Series X, it's shocking how badly Microsoft missed the mark. The disastrous launch of Xbox One really has left a ripple effect on their console line.
I think they really need a proper rebrand (away from the Xbox One or Xbox Series, but more Xbox 720 or whatever) and/or much, much more licensed IPs for their consoles.
It's 2024, and I still play a ton of Wolfenstein 3D every year. It's just a perfect game. My memory's not great though, and it's weird I STILL don't have much memorized even after playing these maps SO MANY times.
Right now I have the Xbox 360 version paused on my Series X in the living room and it's been sitting like that for a day or two, so Wolf 3D music is just quietly playing in the background. I realized I'm cool with this. My brain's always in Castle Wolfenstein killing digital Nazis anyway, why not have it as background music for daily life. 🤣😂🤣
