I would be very unsettled if I didn't hear the woodpeckers, owls, hawks, foxes, (the deer and coyotes are silent), and all the other birds. Except the starlings. They can go away.

Much to my amazement, I saw a lot of bees yesterday. My son thinks the little addition the next door neighbors put on their house is for bees. I think he's right! I rushed to put some flowers I grow in the house out on the deck for them.
