@nedbat I think the Norwegian "translation" is probably of "nedsat" which at least in Danish and Swedish means something like "reduced"

  1. Good travel day today to Umeå, Sweden. I easily get stressed when travelling (and also not when travelling 😂) and did so today, but overall I'm kind of proud of myself

A from the last few days

  1. Submitted a paper with @amelia and collaborators we met only recently, but it was a 1+1=3 collaboration, looking forward to more of this
  2. A colleague wrote me a nice email about my blog, which I've been neglecting, but that gives me extra motivation to start again
  3. I used the phone 😱 to call a pizzeria and ordered the pizza in Danish and I got the correct pizza and everything

@RickiTarr I like savoury breakfasts. Full English is a bit too much but I like scrambled eggs with salmon or with cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash browns. I don't typically eat all that but I do have eggs fairly often

I am learning python this break (because it turns out to be more fun for me than playing Assassin's Creed Valhalla). After reading in a PDF file, it takes 1 line of code to extract all URL's, and 4 lines of code to check if an OSF page someone links to is public or if they forgot to make it public.
