@renwillis Yes, the DLC is very different from the main game, which is full of beautiful cities/dungeons and puzzles and a dystopian, otherworldian storyline.

@renwillis Cute! Earlier today, I was playing the Octopia DLC for Eastward. It's engaging so far. Tonight, we played Penny Black, my new stamp collecting board game. It's very fun!

@renwillis I loved Eastward. I played it when it first came out. Super fun. The Octopia DLC is on sale on Switch right now for $5 or something. It is a whole separate cozy farming and cooking game. Very cute.

Cat roommates of the ActivityPub may I ask...

Do you play fetch with your furry little roomie? Zara, my cat, likes to chase rubber balls. Those super bounce ones you used to find in bubblegum machines?

She runs around the house with one in her mouth. Batting them into walls and chasing them across the floor.

She'll walk up, set the ball down and look to me to throw it. It's very funny and we both seem to enjoy the time. I have had cats my whole life and I'm familiar with them. But I haven't had a cat play fetch before. I'm just curious if others have this experience with their cats?

@lolgop What is their reason for restricting contraceptives (and the ability to prevent pregnancies) when fewer pregnancies means fewer abortions? It doesn't make any sense.

Every year I get knocked on my back by migraines in February and every year it takes me by surprise. Allergies? Daylight shifts?

@andrew I take sumatriptan on really bad days, and I take Benadryl every day regardless, but I have noticed that if I periodically take a decongestant (Mucinex D) and a NSAID (Aleve or something), that can prevent the pressure in my head from becoming a full blown migraine. This is great, because I don't like the side effects of sumatriptan.

Migraines are awful. Good luck this month.

I woke up my big polar bear dog. I told him the snow was a song for his people. He walked onto the porch, yawned, and then walked back inside. I think it is just past his bedtime and he will be more excited about it tomorrow. 😄

I agree! I was not expecting it to be as good as it was. Even people who don't care about monster movies should go see it. Instead of Oppenheimer, folks should see Godzilla Minus One.

Good morning and happy Tuesday!

Last night I was up late playing Santa, i.e. wrapping all the presents for my kids. 4 kids for Christmas means a lot of wrapping. Me & my wife split the kids down the middle and, yea, pretty even in terms of number of gifts. So, that's good.

If you celebrate, are you all prepped for Christmas? Do you have all your gifts wrapped / bought?

We put our tree up on Saturday. We usually have it up for 2-3 weeks. We also (re)use bags every year. But I can understand how much easier it would be for a large family when each person's packages have a specific wrapping paper.

Took my doggo to the dog park to meet his friend for a costume party. Someone there was handing out glasses to view the eclipse. A fun time was had by all.

I took big dog to a puppy ranch yesterday to see if he would like it. He came home absolutely disgusting, which means he had a great time.

We ordered some books and office supplies at work that arrived yesterday and one of the boxes contained this.

We did not order him, but we will not be giving him back. He's a distinguished gentleman and a very good boy.
