I don't understand CWing political posts. And that doesn't mean you need to @ me explaining why. I know THEIR reasons, I just disagree with them and won't do it.

I respect CWs for other things, but not politics. Politics is news and people need to be aware of what's happening. It's not gory or violent, it's politics.

Most people don't realize the extent to which U.S. agriculture really is in the 21st century. Robot tractors doing seeding and cultivation with enormous precision, autonomous drones doing mapping and spraying on a large scale. That is why when GPS gets screwed up these systems are at risk. Oh, yeah, also when politicians try to ban them without evidence of wrongdoing just to bash China, like they're trying to do with DJI drones that do the vast majority of that crucial agricultural work.

EDITED: One of journalism's consistent flaws is ignoring relevant context.

Case in point is this NY Times story about a judge tossing out a new federal regulation limiting extortionate credit card late fees.

Here's the context the Times didn't care to include: The financial companies went forum shopping, and landed one of their favorite Trump-appointed judges, who (to his credit) objected to the process, but then predictably ruled against the administration.

Journalistic malpractice, IMO.

Consideration for the residents is a must. (I lived for a while in a house that was for sale. Had to clear out for showings, but those were mostly on weekdays while I was at work. (It didn't sell. 2006.)

The one R I voluntarily voted for. 1972, when the Ds and the Rs got together and gerrymandered his district. He went out and walked in the new area, and had a booth at the county fair. Still the only congressperson I've ever met.
He changed parties back in the 90s.
