@Wen @fkamiah17 @AmFearUaine Many moons ago, I had a black retriever/springer cross dog, who I used to leave outside the library when I popped in. Trouble was the librarians knew him from a puppy and loved the softy and they used to go and bring him in and ply him with biscuits....

I did comment that they were happier to see him than me, and they agreed!

@simon_brooke I truly hate the enshittification. Pretty much every website these days has this, and cookies.

It should be required to have a reject all just as prominent as the accept all.

Or default to reject all so you have to choose to share.

Dear people who think George Galloway is cool - and I know you're out there - today he's announced that the Workers' Party has a policy to leave NATO, and that he doesn't think children should be taught that gay relationships are "normal" in an interview with Novara Media.

Oh I’m so anxious about everything. My heart is pounding. I’ve just got to focus on getting the result I need - a temporary suspension of my PhD studies. It will mean that my income is also suspended, but we’ll have to muddle through. As long as I don’t lose my PIP… 😬

Keith's on GMB this morning trying to deny he said that Israel has the right to cut of power and water from Gaza. He "misspoke". Funny that several other shadow ministers - including Emily Thornberry and David Lammy - said the EXACT SAME THING on national television in the days after that interview with Ferrari, eh?

Remember: fossil fuel companies want people to focus on what uses #energy so we don't talk about the supply side.

They benefit from #environmentalists spending time and energy bickering with one another about whether AI uses too much #electricity, whether to support more #nuclear plants, whether we should mine more #lithium to have grid scale #batteries, and so forth.

That doesn't mean we can't talk about these things, but be #mindful where you spend your energy.

@simon_brooke I suspect the SNP fracture lines will spit out 2 or 3 new factions. The right whingers will go alba, the centre, don't know and the left a Scottish socialist party that will Align strongly with the SGP.

Whether the yellowtories, red tories or blue tories will gain seats or power I do not know.
