@recollir @BenjaminHan Possibly; back when I used Strava, what's wasn't an irregular thing, and then I'd compare it to the watch's track which was always solid.

Iโ€™m actually quite curious how the two apps, which (I imagine) work from the same GPS information, can get such different results.

I am also guilty of finishing a run without checking if I've hit my target distance. Such is life. ๐Ÿคฃ

That said, the elevation differences are curious - I suspect it is the same GPS problem Strava has manifesting in a different way. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿป

HITT kicked my butt again this morning. Bike ride was lovely, with the few traffic lights I crossed mostly in my favour.

Contemplating changing my 5-on, 2-off pattern. Thinking I might do 2/1/3/1 or something like that to break up recovery. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿคท๐Ÿป

@antwhat Lots of great suggestions already, but if comes down to what do you like to do? Ottawa's got some great museums, galleries, restaurants, and some absolutely wonder recreational paths around the city.

@antwhat ๐Ÿค” I'd say if you're walking, start in the market, stop at Planet Coffee for a drink and a cookie, walk over to the National Gallery, then walk through Major's Hill park (plenty of tulips), up to Parliament Hill, then down to the Rideau Canal, you can walk along that (west side) to Lansdowne (few KMs), another coffee shop (or some ice cream), then wander down Bank Street. Thereโ€™ also the Ottawa Art Gallery and a small gallery inside of City Hall. Lots to see and do here.

@antwhat You're welcome! If you like, you can continue along the canal past Lansdowne to Dow's lake (~2km) and see the tulips at the park there. I'd expect it to be busy, though. There are lots of route options!

I am definitely very very ready to go home and not be in a big city anymore. I know at least one person at the conference who has tested positive for covid, and I hope hope HOPE that my careful masking and eating outdoors has been enough to avoid catching it. Ugh I never want to go to a conference again.

I slept badly again. Time to venture out and find food and immune-boosting vitamins and coffee, then 3+ interviews and maybe I'll actually get to watch a few conference talks today...
