@juergen_hubert MediaWiki is good for large-scale projects, but I would recommend DokuWiki instead if you plan to have less than 10k pages or so. It's much easier to use, administer and maintain.
C'est quand même un peu rageant, à chaque fois que je tombe sur un lieu cool qui propose des activités ou des rencontres intéressantes. Il faut aussi que ça héberge des conneries bien être new-agisante voir carrément fakemed. Je ne sais pas si c'est un problème local où si c'est partout.

@Ziggurat@mozz I also have very little combat in my games, but I use random encounters all the time because they make the setting dynamic.
I don't equate random encounter with random combat, an encounter can be something to interact with, talk to, run from, or plenty of other things.
I also don't equate "random" with "unrelated to the rest of the adventure", part of the fun of random encounters is figuring out why and how an ogre ended up on top of the ruined tower, and building on that.
I would have totally avoided cyberware in my #Solarpunk#TTRPG... But a game with potential injuries needs fast healing if it is to be fun.... so there is the option to get cyberware with no benefits beyond "fast healing". Does anyone have a better idea of how Cyberware and Solarpunk can go together?
@solarpunk2050 I think you should challenge the assumption that a game with injuries needs fast healing to be fun.
Having a 1:1 replacement for a lost limb make the injuries meaningless, they are merely a temporary setback.
But having a visible injury and wearing a non-powered prosthetic can make a character more challenging and interesting to play, you have to live with the consequences of your past choices.

@ZachWeinersmith L'utilisation d'anglicismes (mots en anglais ou venant de l'anglais dans une phrase en français) est assez mal vue dans un contexte littéraire ou officiel, alors les journalistes évitent généralement d'en mettre. Mais c'est plus commun dans le langage familier courant.
Je me demandais pourquoi le kaki désigne une teinte de vert en français et d'orange en anglais (persimmon).
En fait, la couleur kaki et le fruit éponyme n'ont rien à voir.
Le fruit vient du japonais 柿 (kaki), alors que la couleur vient du persan خاکی (khāki), qui veut dire terreux.
C'est juste un hasard si les deux sont homonymes.
Hier on a joué à DungeonDelvers.TV, un #JDR basé sur Together We Go dans lequel on joue des streamers de l'extrême explorant des donjons apparus dans le monde contemporain pour engranger les follows et les partenariats.
De bonnes idées, mais comme un goût d'incomplétude. Les mécaniques ne s’engrènent pas aussi bien que l'on aurait espéré, ou alors on est passés à côté d'un truc 😅.
@matthieu_be Le thème est super, gros kif sur le côté parodique du dungeon crawling et du streaming Twitch, mais le jeu ne marche pas sans de grosses adaptations. Les gains et partes de followers sont complètement arbitraires, des pile-ou-faces déconnectés des actions de nos personnages. Ça nous a un peu désemparés car on voyait pas ce qu'on pouvait faire pour faire avancer les intérêts de nos personnages à part espérer que les dés soient de notre côté.

I'll still give it a try, though, I want to see the game in action at the table. It could be a good middle ground for playing a system that's not too heavy with players that like character building.
Upcoming D&D Book has preview art that looks wholesale AI-generated. The artist on those pieces does use AI, and also does digital painting, and says AI was used to finish and put polish on his art.
"How much AI is too much AI" being the argument (rather than, say "What platform, and what's in the dataset") makes for a nice wedge-shaped introduction of "Well, surely he can do that", I note.

This can be a list of games (D&D! Tribe 8! Fate!) or categories (the weirdest of indie stuff! NSR! Anything PBtA!), topics (Worldbuilding! Publishing!), stuff you're making, meta-commentary (The State Of The Industry), and so on.
Then maybe share, and if the replies are building up, check them for new people.

I make character sheets, and sometimes maps.
I organize 2 conventions a year, and run open tables at game festivals and libraries about once a month.
When I publish stuff I made, I use the CC-compatible Free Art license.
Currently running long campaigns of #UVG and #SotDL (non-OSR exception), plus a one-shot of a new game every week or so.
We often tell new folks to #Mastodon to follow #Hashtags, but we never tell people how to do it or which ones to follow. To follow a hashtag from the web client (it varies on the apps), click on the hashtag, and then click on the person icon with a +. Once you have done that, the icon changes to a person with an x; clicking on the x icon will also unfollow the hashtag (see my before and after screenshots). You can see which hashtags you follow by accessing the menu next to your profile name.

I do follow smaller tags in that list, though.
