It’s about 500km north of Gold Coast. I think it’s about on par because we’re still on the coast, but we do work out west a bit too which is usually a lot drier.

Angus Taylor confirming nuclear energy will have to be subsidised in Australia. Even just being a distraction is bad enough. With David Crisafulli as Queensland premier they'll use him to slow down renewables while consultants are paid to conduct feasability studies at all the proposed sites. #qldpol

I have made the annual Budget pie chart for tomorrow. This year it is a gluten and dairy free chocolate cake, decorated like a pie chart of the Federal Budget.

Most years I just top a pav with whipped cream and fruit in different colours for the different pie chart segments. But we have a new team member with a dairy intolerance, and I want her to be able to take as big a slice of the Defence budget as she wants and say it’s Housing or Education or whatever she chooses.
