Careful with dist-upgrade and full-upgrade right now on #Debian#sid, they are upgrading to 64 bit time, which means all their packages are being rebuilt. A side effect is that it uninstalls a bunch of packages.
To upgrade during the transition, aptitude seems to do a great job at sorting things properly.
My employer lets a private company send fake phishing mails to all staff in order to train them. Now that company, which most personnel do not know, sends an e-mail in its own name to all our staff, asking them to click on a link to follow an anti-phishing training. So it looks like the message they are giving to all our staff is: it's OK to click on links from unknown companies, as long as they tell you that it's anti-phishing training. 🤦♂️ #phishing#infosec

@shawnhooper That's exactly my point. There are so many ways to find the username in Wordpress, and it would not be difficult to even just guess mine. Reporting this as a security vulnerability makes no sense.
Is there anyone who uses a hardware #hifi component to #stream#music files from a #server or #nas in your network (using protocols like #smb or #upnp#dlna) to your amplifier? If you are a #postmaster , please make sure you don't use #spamhaus#CSS#SBL to block e-mail. This list blocks whole /64 ipv6 subnets, while providers like #OVH only hand out single IP addresses /128 on their VPS's. That means that CSS is blocking systems of unrelated and innocent users.
It looks like #drupal cannot be updated because of the presence of old drupal-console (project seems dead?). Now I try to remove drupal-console but that fails because drupal is in a partially updated state because of the earlier failure... sigh.

I still can't believe the republican party and it's members let #Trump be their primary candidate. They are digging a deep hole for themselves. And the scary scenario that Trump wins ? Then we face the prospect of the end of US democracy and/or civil war. Also good to remember the US has adversaries that will do anything to let Trump win and weaken the US. Tense months ahead.

The scenario of civil war is not excluded when he loses: around half of the population will vote for him and I'm afraid part of them will be prepared to resort to violence.
