@ai6yr I have spent a lot of time getting places on foot and it's absurd how people respond to it.

You can go to the gym, get on a treadmill and pretend to walk somewhere for an hour and people are fine with it.

You can go out on the sidewalk, walk for an hour to an actual physical place and people freak out about it.

@maxleibman Every little power hiccup, my laptop loses the external monitors, shoves it all into a single screen and forgets I ever had the other monitors.

All it really needs to do is save a profile for external monitors plugged in and a profile for no external monitors.

Sr Airman Roger Fortson was at home when cops entered unannounced & shot him dead 6 times.

The cop claimed he acted in self defense when he saw Fortson holding a firearm—which Fortson legally owned. The cop is on admin leave.

@br00t4c They know the potential for harm and they are intentionally preserving it. This is back to the "What it does is what it's meant to do" discussion.

Once the actual mechanisms and outcomes are understood, like the well documented increase in domestic abuse, rapes, etc. then any refusal to change course has to be interpreted as intent.

@DrALJONES Our government has been consistently pretending not to notice when people in the Israeli government or military say this explicitly. I don't expect them to suddenly connect the dots now but maybe a couple moderate voters will figure out that we haven't been talking nonsense when we called it genocide.
