Anderson v. Griswold, ruling that Trump is ineligible to appear on Colorado’s Republican primary ballot, is about 200 pages. I’m attaching it here, with my annotations, to help folks through the material. I’ve highlighted different sections in different colors and underlined or otherwise indicated particularly important passages. All the opinions are clear and important to read for yourself, whether or not you are a lawyer. https://drive.google.com/file/d/13peW_zaZVZOcbL_mlhdEagIdEUS-Dxck/view?usp=drivesdk

@heidilifeldman Thank you for sharing this with your highlights. When I was practicing I took a special interest in statutory construction, so I was very interested to see how they dealt with the question of whether the President was an "officer of the United States" within the scope of Section Three. Reading that section of the opinion was very satisfying. The reasoning was not forced or strained and is very persuasive. I wish I had faith that it will stand.

The Piano Grande of Castelluccio di Norcia during the fioritura is nothing short of magical. This was in July of 2016, just weeks before the devastating earthquake that brought the area to its knees.

We returned to Castelluccio di Norcia in July of 2018, almost two years after the devastating earthquakes. It was one of the most exquisite years they had seen in a long time. The town itself was (and still is) inaccessible, but a few rooms are available, and it is worth the effort to seek them out to be able to see the glacial plain in different light over the course of the day.

What started out as a little project to use my grandmother's leftover thread turned into this. I've been working on this little garden on the edge of an old napkin between dish towels using patterns I found in her stash. While I love a pattern, doing this free style has scratched an itch I never knew I had. I've enjoyed watching it evolve. Almost finished!

When my niece came to visit me in last fall, we spent our last day in Rome. She had just finished a semester abroad during which she had studied architecture and completed a project on external ornamentation of churches through the ages. We decided to spend the entire afternoon at the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. I wish you could have seen her face as she absorbed this treasure like a sponge. I decided on this for because there are windows, aren't there?

Never got tired of these sunsets behind our old house in the Keys. That drive, though... January, 2015.

Is FB really reaching back to a year old post saying that I "tried to get likes, follows, shares or video views in a misleading way." Really? I am absolutely dumbfounded. Of all of the misleading BS that comes across my FB feed every day, this, THIS is what gets removed? I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone!

I will never get over the fact that going out to dinner these days costs more than my first car. Last night we decided to celebrate and go to one of our favorite places that had closed but has returned temporarily as a pop-up. We knew it would be expensive, but felt that at least we wouldn't leave pissed off because we knew it would be worth it. We still ended up leaving pissed off because they added a credit card surcharge on top of the cost of my first car. 🤬How is this sustainable?
