    Seven police and sheriff's officers in Kansas on Friday raided the Marion County Record newspaper and its publisher’s house, raising concerns over freedom of the press in the United States.

    By confiscating all seven of its computers, the paper was struggling to find a way to publish its next issue!

    @Free_Press they had found some dirt on the police chief. They didn't use it, but it's in the wild: the chief has a prior conviction that should result in his termination, regardless of how the knowledge was first obtained.

    It is the only decent instance I have seen. As you may have noticed from my changes in address, I've move, again, and again. A few of the moves have been very destructive, and intentionally so. I'm not worried about the follower loss, but MANY POSTS. MOST of require Slava and kiss Zionist ass.

    @pluralistic I also have a plan. In a nutshell, I see clearly the mistakes made that allowed to fail, and the mistakes I made, several times, that allowed DOGSPOT, then indyradio, to get beaten down, and I have a plan for a network. I'm going to bring up a few instances soon.

    My experience, in the US, is that if you talk to a very long, they look you over, judge your attitude, and with disdain say: "oh, you must be a Serb or a Pole"

    I had such a bad experience with Verizon in the past, I packed up all their crap and shipped it all back, carefully within all the rules and the time limit. They still tried to bill me for a month and the equipment. I had to shout down their computer to get a LIVE AGENT or I would have been screwed.
    That is WHY they have machines handle the phone.
    I did find another way to get internet, and it wasn't bad. Verizon is mostly bad.

    @mrcompletely @scholar_farmer @tehstu @pluralistic With Comcast, I repeatedly refused to use my phone connection to facilitate the installation of my home internet.
    That is total bullshit.
    I am not naive to installing internet. You absolutely do not need your cell phone to install cable. Needless to say, with Comcast, I did everything to maximize their cost in closing the account and they got their box back. That time, I simply got a good tether, and it was more reliable than most services.
