My “home away from home”. Bob and I pitched this thing years ago on a #botswana hiking safari. When I camped in #venezuela I didn’t bother with the tent, just slept by the fire. That’s cuz I was young and could care lees about danger (not a reflection on young people). Africa is a little more challenging you do need a tent. We were visited by angry elephants, a heard of hungry hyenas and good knows what else. #photography #photomonday

The Sphere, Las Vegas is truly a local landmark and icon. I’ve always felt that we had smaller versions of #venice or #paris or #newyork. This trip we saw “Postcards from The World” an immersive take on the world and it was spectacular. We also met Aura, the chatty #robot that answered all our questions. I am proud to say that now I feel that Las Vegas has a structure of its own that is truly unique. Not to say massive! #tourism #travel #photography #travelphotography

My first impressions with the #Fediverse, #Flipboard and #activitypub. I am still feeling my way around the environment. I am not thrilled about having so many accounts all over the place and it doesn’t seem like they are all connected. I would eventually like to see a seamless connection between my Flipboard magazines, my Flipboard account, my mastodon account and my threads account. I would like to get to a place where I can communicate with my followers and build meaningful #communities
