I've been playing this song so many times over the weekend. The melody is so catchy and the beat is so fun to dance with. 😊❤️

The US, EU, Japan and South Korea are actively reducing trade with China. "After all the point of de-coupling, or de-risking, as the Europeans prefer to say, is to reduce vulnerabilities to Beijing’s bullying."

"Most striking in the data is that China has lost pride of place as the biggest exporter to the United States. That distinction now goes to Mexico."

This year's commemoration was not included in the list of special non-working holidays.

“They do not want to commemorate the EDSA People Power because this will remind them of the day that people the overthrew them from Malacañang,” said award-winning director and martial law survivor Joel Lamangan.

Heartwarming to hear that people still know that lyrics of "Rosas" by Nica Del Rosario ❤️

More than 2 million protesters on EDSA (Epifanio De Los Santos Avenue, C-3 or Circumferential Road 3) in Quezon City, Philippines and 4 days of protests in February 1986.

In the days of the People Power Revolution, a Franciscan nun remembers that she was protesting on EDSA and saw military helicopters in the sky.

"We were crying because the end was near. So we all knelt and waited to be bombed."

Remembering the EDSA Revolution of 1986 today. They've removed it from the holidays list, no surprise because of the current administration. But I won't forget it, because my family and I were there. We were tear-gassed at the intersection of Katipunan and Santolan Road, behind Camp Crame. /1

@pixiecata

I was also on EDSA in Feb 1986 with my mother but didn't have much trauma about it and I was too young to understand what was happening. (I just remember people walking on the highway and being able to eat ice scramble for the 1st time.) I only realized its significance several years later.

In the 2022 elections, I felt betrayed by 31M Filipinos who voted for the dictator's son Marcos Junior. If that's how I feel, just imagine how the families of people who died in Martial Law feel

How brazen of Grab to operate motorcycle hailing without a PH government permit. And to think it also owns MoveIt. Such a monopolistic move. 🙄

What can 15 million Leni Robredo supporters do, if 31 million people love the former dictator's son Marcos Junior.

Gone are the days when politicians were achievers: bar exam topnotchers, oratorical spellbinders and eloquent writers. Now we have college dropouts, murderers, gun-totting misogynists, actors as presidents. We have not learned from history.

TikTok dance by Japanese group angers Hong Kong citizens.

Osaka-based Avantgardey posted a video of them performing the kemusan, also known as "subject 3," a popular dance move that Hong Kongers say reflects China's "vulgar culture." The Japanese group was criticized for seeing "Hong Kong as China, which touches Hong Kong people’s raw nerve."
