Does stifle religious innovation?

In 2018, the bishop of Rome said that the "Our Father" prayer was mis-translated, and "lead us not into temptation" should be "abandon us not []".
https://www.vatican.va/content/francesco/en/speeches/2018/august/documents/papa-francesco_20180811_giovani-italiani.html

The Vatican's website partly reflects his wish in Italian https://www.vatican.va/special/rosary/documents/misteri.html but not in English https://www.vatican.va/special/rosary/documents/misteri_en.html.

The Catechism is Vatican © in Latin; translations are held by episcopal conferences. https://www.vatican.va/archive/catechism_it/p4s2_it.htm and https://www.vatican.va/archive/compendium_ccc/documents/archive_2005_compendium-ccc_it.html#LA%20PREGHIERA%20DEL%20SIGNORE%20PADRE%20NOSTRO remain outdated.

Complete madness in the industry: «Boeing expects the global aircraft fleet to almost double over the next 20 years, from about 24,500 jets in 2022 to 48,600 by 2042. Last year's outlook predicted a global fleet of 43,470 aircraft in 2041.»

" is thriving: new users stick with it, finding it extraordinarily easy and delightful to use"

What do you say? That's not the headline you've read?

Arguably, of some 3 million new users in November-December, 2 million were still active a month later. That would be a new user retention some four times higher than Twitter's on Android (16 %), as we just learnt from Similarweb.
https://www.similarweb.com/blog/insights/social-media-news/threads/

Where are the UX experts trying to figure out this incredible success?

the-federation.info chart showing total registered users went from about 4600k in October to 7700k at the end of December, and added 300k more in January (which is the minimum amount to be decremented from the MAU of the end of January for comparison with one month before). The figure hopefully doesn't include daystorm.netz.org which starts its stats in May.

Contrary to legend, with summer tyres on ice doesn't hurt you: the sudden urge to turn or brake does. Always go straight on at constant velocity and you'll be fine. Show respect to traffic lights: apply the oncoming car's brakes by sternly looking into the driver's eyes. Don't fight nature: if you need to turn right at an intersection downhill, your time's up.

My desktop PC's CPU/APU soon turns 10. Can I reduce my energy use with a new one? Turns out, probably not.

I'm only ever starved for CPU when Thunderbird is busy.

A newer APU has about twice the single-threaded speed for the same TDP of 65 W (downclockable to 45 W), for an upfront cost about 50 % higher than in 2015. It makes sense if I can save an average of 10 W for 10 years. I'd confirm with plug-in power meter over a few days.

Will the shop accept my returns if power savings are too low?

Hopefully this is an egregious mistake by the authorities and gets overturned quickly. In the meanwhile, it must be difficult to do any financial planning without knowing what the tax liabilities will be.

A year ago I recommended asking for help from people with more experience.

"Medieval Feminist Forum" sounds like a cool journal!
https://scholarworks.wmich.edu/mff/about.html

But sigh: ir.uiowa.edu switched to some product and removed the journal archive, all incoming links were broken with no redirects in place, and know nothing about it, BASE doesn't have the new OAI-PMH endpoint.

I bet the repository admins are crying in their sleep. Sometimes working in is frustrating.
