• Sync drafts across devices (iCloud)

• macOS: icon change should persist when app is closed

• “Show Threads on Timeline” feature like Mona App

• Inline text translation; iOS send me to Google translate; macOS is a popup; don't use Google

• I can swap favorites w/ bookmarks, but let me swap favorites and share for other actions

• Add “Copy Image Link” to the image menu so I can easily hotlink my #beer pics in forum posts on #BeerAdvocate

I wish more of the #journalists and #news organizations that I want to follow were active on #Mastodon or other #ActivityPub federated platform.

Instead, they’re chasing engagement on #Twitter, #Threads, and now #Bluesky. Many have abandoned accounts here with thousands of followers, while others just broadcast links now and then. I get it, but…

Of course there are a ton of exceptions, and other voices worthy of following, but discovering becomes a part-time job.

Disappointed, but not surprised, by the utter lack of interest in #ActivityPub over at #XenForo.

XF 2.2 was released in Sep 2020. XF 2.3 will drop sometime this year, however, IMHO, none of the new features were worth waiting 3+ years (a lifetime ago) for.

In the meantime, #forums like #Discourse are testing a plugin, #Flarum 2.0 will support #federation, and #nodeBB plans to join the #fediverse too. I'm sure there are more.

I really want to migrate #BeerAdvocate to another #forum platform.

Last month I deleted all social media apps from my phone, except for #Mastodon, to help reclaim my time, redirect my focus, and improve my mental health.

Highly recommended.
