How much alone time vs socializing do you need?

For me there are a few people who are usually equalizing, and I can just be around them, so I won't count that. But generally, I find about 3 times a week, I'm game for socializing. A day in between to rest is usually nice, but the larger the gathering or if we go somewhere particularly noisy or I'm meeting new people that involves more effort, and my social battery empties sooner. I'm very curious where everyone else falls on this!

@RickiTarr Due to circumstance I have almost no face to face socialising at all, outside of my job. I’d kill for once a week. My extended period of solitude makes it difficult to break the cycle as a form of agoraphobia kicks in. I am working on it though.

A Brit. I have just started watching the first episode of “The Man in the High Castle”. I like it so far & don’t think it is a spoiler to say the premise is an alternative world set in 1961 where the Axis Powers won WW2.
What I find interesting, as a bleeding-heart liberal, is that of all the horrors of a fascist alternative reality what offended me most was that those Nazi fucks did Concorde instead of us & the French. Do other people experience this? Is this nationalism?

Outcome of visit to in terms of economic agreements signed:

  • ✅ Agreement on supplies of Russian topinambour and beef by-products, particularly beef cartilage and stomachs to China
  • ✅ Creation of a new nature reserve “Land of big cats”
  • ✅ Cooperation between TASS and Xinhua news agencies
  • ❌ Construction of Power of Siberia 2 gas pipeline was not agreed

To me, these indicate an extremely close and strategic partnership between China and Russia, especially the beef cartilages are going to change the course of the world 😂

Truly and honestly, I have a great time here, because you all make it great. You boost, you reply, you encourage, and inspire! It is crazy to me that I get to talk to people from all over the world every day. I get to be friends with people I'll probably never actually get to physically meet. I was born into a pre-internet world, and this still feels a little like a miracle to me.

One time we went to this great cigar bar, and I convinced my husband to pose with a cigar, so I could get a picture, but then he said to not post a picture of him with a cigar, so I had to get creative.
