As I see it, President Biden, with good intentions, started out supporting Israel after a brutal terrorist attack; but soon enough, he found himself supporting a vicious war criminal, Benjamin Netanyahu. What President Biden needs to do is craft a really good exit strategy really quickly.
CBS Radio News has been playing a clip, off and on all day, of my United States Senator, Bernie Sanders, saying that Israel has a right to defend itself and to respond to the horrific terrorist attack from Hamas, but it does not have a right to wage war against an entire people.

I put off reading it for the longest time because of published criticisms. It was a mistake on my part. Now, though, I do assume that you have also probably read Planetary Gods and Planetary Orders. One of my sort of relatives used to have a vanity license plate that said, MITHRAS. What originally interested you in the subject?
In radio news on Friday or on Saturday morning, I heard a representative of the Biden administration say that Israel reports Hamas is using human shields and it is using hospitals as bases; and, while this is true, it is necessary to minimize the killing of innocent civilians. But is it true? Are these Netanyahu claims or actual facts? Does anyone know of an independent source of this information?
I wouldn't put any of this past Hamas. On the other hand, I wouldn't rely on Netanyahu's account without verification.
