Hey everyone how are we feeling about the phrase "nonconsensual transgender surgeries" in this sentence about so-called normalizing genital procedures on children:

"Because it has been (and remains) difficult, perhaps impossible, to predict with certainty how children will identify as they mature, physicians have sometimes chosen the wrong gender, and thus such permanent surgeries performed at infancy become, in effect, nonconsensual transgender surgeries."
