It was so important to devastate the security of the populace of Sweden by joining the war bloc NATO that it had to be done so quickly there couldn't be real debate and absolutely no referendum as is normal on even smaller matters, while civilian experts kept trying to point out it would of course make Sweden even more a target to declare it self a mandatory war zone, but no, they kept claiming "for your security" and now 2 years later the week that the last parliament voted to approve accession... the military and civilian spy-agencies shifted rhetoric to what we said previously,
that now joining NATO of course WILL cause there to be more attacks and more sabotage and generally decreased security. Now that it's too late, they start saying what the conflict deescalation experts said from the start.
But the military gets to squander billions more on murder-toys instead of healthcare, schools, etc, so "mission accomplished".

In school history was taught with specific dates. For example, WWII started on September 1st, 1939 with Hitler's invasion of Poland.
Of course, in September 1939 no one thought they were involved in a "World War" or even a total war. War kept growing and creeping.
