Evening mograph. More play with the Concentric Instancer. Had to compress the ever luvvin f out of this to get it small enough to post. Looks a bit better in the original Klingon, as one might imagine. #Blender3D#B3D#GenerativeArt#3DArt#MartianGraphics
Afternoon mograph. Happy little space maggots, flipping as they float. Continuing to experiment with using Curve Deform to animate point clouds, and using the curve's twist to add some spice here.
I'm also mixing the animation down, which makes the nature of the movement less apparent, and a little more organic. A while back, I added Mix sliders to most of my nodes, and it's a continually surprising and useful feature. "Do this... but a little less." #Blender3D#B3D#GenerativeArt#3DArt
Good evening, all you lovely logic gates, flickering out there in the dark. How about a challenge tonight?
You have a freshly generated cube sitting in front of you, aligned to the world axes (or axiseseses, if you prefer). You want this cube standing on one corner, with the opposite corner directly above it. How do you rotate the cube?
After a few tutorials, this is my first solo project!
I’m super happy that I learned enough to create something.
I took inspiration from Gourmet Revelations cat food 🐱
On a fun-er note, I've started pulling together all the Battlezone figures I'd been modelling and printing in one place so that people can grab them and print their own if they are so inclined.
Another one of those "not the most interesting animation in the world" kinda deals, but considering that I just systematically broke (uhhh, I mean... rebuilt) all the key parts of my tools, I'm really just ecstatic this worked.
...but then I'm like.... what if I attach my Skew node to this? Aaaand what if I then have a Sine Loop animating the Skew? And what if I do that to all possible Skew planes simultaneously?
Evening mograph. I really dunno what. Hey, watch me compress this crumpled piece of paper into glowing eldritch energy, while the pebbles scattered around grow into rather angry crystals. #Blender3D#B3D#GenerativeArt#3DArt
Anyone have any advice regarding Blender updates and backwards compatibility issues?
I've been trying to open a project that opens fine on 3.4 but completely crashes with no error message on 3.5. The only possible issue I can think of is that I have a hair particle simulation on that project compared to others on my system.
It's been weeks and weeks since I made anything so I'm quite out of practice with both carving and sanding but here is a sycamore wood spirit that I finally got done last night/this lunchtime.
Pixel Shader 2.0 is done, so glad too! there are a ton of nice features built in for everyone. Retro or new wave!
Features.
Dither dropoff
Custom dither patters and scale
Emission maps
Emission color
Main Light Shadow toggle
Screen Space toggle
VGA style posterized mode
light color count slider (for setting the number of colors a light and its mixing or dropoff will generate)
Going on a little vacation knowing I am gonna finally playing return to #monkey#island! Pretty excited! Sooo I decided to do a pirate (because why not!) nothing too fancy...just a quick sculpt :) just hope the compression doesn't kill it too much!ARRRRRR #MonkeyIsland#Art#3dArt#Zbrush#Wip#MastoArt
Afternoon mograph. A glowing sphere and a small singularity circle a group of wandering orbs. What separates orbs from spheres? Spelling and pronunciation, mainly. #Blender3D#B3D#GenerativeArt#3DArt
