Seems likely they are more "flighty" in the spring and early summer when the flowers are a bit sparser. But if you're patient you'll eventually come across one feeding calmly.

I've been working on this a bit today. I'm going to add lots of colorful smoke and bubbles coming out of the cauldron. I'm a slow painter, but I'm sure I'll finish before witch season 😉
I hope you're all having a lovely day ✌️

I'm self-taught so it's been a marvelous learning process the past 3+ years. I'm just happy I get to share that experience with others who enjoy nature as much as I do.
@Rihilism I'm self taught as well & pro photographers used to make fun of me a lot! When I used to work in portraiture, public events & amateur & pro sports events. Many shut up, after I proved myself via my work produced. I had a few local pro photogs(men) who got very upset when I was given contracts they bid for that I never even bidded for. I was hired directly through media managers. Same with concert work; paid well because of my results.

My recording function still drops parts of the recorded video so I have to guess the correct length for a perfect loop. But after 17 tries, this one seems to be good.
