If you're a new/recent follower, hello! Welcome to my feed. I hope you like #independent#music (especially #ElectronicMusic!) recommendations, discussions about the #life of a #musician, music-related #shitposts and the occasional smattering of leftist (pro labor, pro justice, pro human rights, anti racist, anti police, anti fascist) politics.
I'm a good follow if you're looking for #NewMusic or if you're a musician making new music. If you're both, well...
This is a 30-minute long environmental abstract sound composition I released a couple of months ago called 'From What's Gathered', if you felt like checking it out...
Hello. Are there any fans of sound art, field recordings, musique concrète, drones and experimental noise out there???
My name is Fletina. I run a little blog dedicated to "non-music" called Audio Crackle. I just thought I'd finally check out Mastodon, and I'd really appreciate some followers, thanks.
another ORT: field recordings out of the unsettling rooms of the former Oxford barracks / Flakkserne in Münster / Germany, manipulated and remixed with recordings from other places, developed out of the psychogeographic field exploration / audiovisual installation "Ort ohne Heimweh" in collaboration with Thomas Gerhards, Werner Rückemann, Oxford barracks, Münster, Germany.

#MusiqueConcrète is probably not in my top ten #music genres, but it probably is in my top twenty, which is enough for me to feel confident in saying that this one by Aki Onda is one of the best albums in that genre. Find the time to listen to it start to finish. You can profitably listen to it without paying attention, but if you do, you'll find that it is pretty composed. https://music.apple.com/us/album/bon-voyage-cassette-memories-volume-two/1495003878
Thrilled to say that my latest work, ‘Four Unbindings‘ is out for preorder today on Richard Chartier’s excellent label, LINE. It's an honour to be on the LINE roster for this release. Many thanks to Richard, and to @room40 for the consistently lovely work on mastering!
I’ll have more to say about the work in the coming weeks, but for now, I hope you’ll head on over to Bandcamp:
This is my first foray into using the @expertsleepers Disting EX Resonator algorithm, which I used to modulate the voice from the #Schlappi triad. The #MakeNoise Morphagene is used to process vocal samples.
I really like using the Roland SP404 mk2 for experimental music and improvised performance. As someone who also enjoys the hip-hop and beat centered music that is typically done on the device it is fun to try and use it in something that I don't come across others doing.
If that sounds interesting, consider checking out my Bandcamp.
The genesis of these piano pieces came from witnessing the mental and physical decline associated with Alzheimer's and reading Ovid's Metamorphoses and seeing a connection with Echo's story.
