Unpopular opinion: we are lucky that the filibuster wasn't exploited during our time when we had complete control. As much as I want voting rights to be enacted into law it won't happen without 10 Republicans and we will need to work to get a filibuster proof majority and it can be done but it will take time. If we weakened or eliminated the filibuster it would've opened the door to a nationwide abortion ban in 2025 if Republicans were to win a trifata. We will get gun violence resolved we just need to vote hard no matter what the Supreme Court does we the people have to speak up and say enough is enough.
