Project on github. You don't have a bug, but you want to ask the author some questions about the code either because something isn't working quite right or you want to contribute. Submitting an issue isn't right since you're just asking non-bug/issue-related questions. Author doesn't have any great ways to contact him.
@macberg I don't know, but I guess I like to #own things, especially when they're as essential to me as a #daw. I think there is something subconsciously reassuring about "owning" something. Whereas with a #subscription, you could lose the service or product at any time. Of course, I would ultimately prefer Bitwig to be #opensource. Then I could be super calm and express my gratitude with #contributions and #donations. 😇️ But that is probably #utopian (for now).
With a tenth of the population and workforce, they think they are owed half the country’s CPP. This should be a last straw insult. Canada should have its own referendum on kicking Alberta out, land-lock them, stop subsidies and payments, impose its own charges for anything flowing out, sue for all damages from excessive emissions and say good riddance.
The method is: if the #province had not joined #CPP, but instead maintained its own plan (like Quebec), had exactly the same #contributions as it did with CPP, got the same rate of return on #investment as CPP, minus everything paid out of CPP? The reports actually went further and discounted the value of those payouts to get the lower number, even though it's not in the formula.
@cazabon a different interpretation suggests 16% is more realistic, including the potential risks involved. This one doesn’t include trying to take advantage of the rest of Canada.
This isn't some wild claim and a #WAG of a number on the part of Alberta.
That number is what you get when you apply the #official#CPP#formula for a #province withdrawing from the plan. i.e., it's the correct amount.
It seems high because #Alberta's #contributions to CPP have been historically much higher than average (good jobs, low #unemployment), and their proceeds from it have been much lower than average (low average age).
The house of the future could be built with dirty diapers. As strange as it might sound, discarded nappies can be sterilized and reused in concrete and mortar.
As expected pretty low on average, partly explained by the fact that writing tests for Bolts is not trivial but at least we can now see where new tests should be added.
I have a #big#announcement: I am accepting #contributions to JokeBot! I added support for making JokeBot translatable into other #languages, and I need some help translating JokeBot into as many languages as possible, so it can be used by non-English speakers. If you would like to contribute, please see the contributing guidelines; you will see a section linking to a localization guide in these guidelines. Also, please make sure that you open an issue before you open a PR, so others will know that a #translation is a work in progress.

"...receive an additional $5,400 in campaign contributions from #oil and #gas companies.
This is an especially strong relationship considering that many elected officials vote against #environmental policies nearly 100% of the time, thereby compounding the cycle of #antienvironmentalism and increasing rewards in the form of #contributions...
