@mekkaokereke Reading the transcripts about the officer in OJ's hearing makes it TRANSPARENTLY clear to what extent the LAPD is just a street gang with government funding. They're not even trying to hide it. They're proud of it.

With the world on the precipice of so many catastrophes, with the number of crosshairs aimed at my communities, and especially with the upcoming election, I’ve found myself thinking “this might be the last time I ever do X”.

It sounds like a downer, but honestly it fills me with determination. I may be living in the pre-apocalypse, but I’m going to do my best.

@Haste Thoughts like these mean you're NOT giving up, even in the face of radical change and profound hardship. Too many people are seeking refuge in the idea that society has some kind of braking system, when it clearly does not. To be thinking "I'll make use of these resources while I have them" is, put simply, the mark of a warrior.
