Hold onto your hats everyone, it’s another #TheGamersTavern announcement!

In the last month we migrated every service onto #OVHCloud's infrastructure (https://www.ovhcloud.com/) to be compliant with the EU GDPR normative regarding private data protection, and while we were at it we decided to upgrade a bit here and there. And here we are, with a new #Eco Server (made by recycled parts from other servers, how neat is this?!?!) to help us host our own #Peertube instance!

Lately I've been tinkering with a python bot to help me write #AltText for all my photographs through Copilot. I'm not really into AI but I believe this is one of the useful use cases in which AI might help.

Of course human reasoning cannot be compared but if it helps accessibility I'm all for it.

The Discord bridge to/from Matrix is operative! How does it work though?
Whenever you'll write a message on Discord the same message will be copy-pasted into Matrix in the corresponding room!

And what about the message written on Matrix side? The same thing will happen in this case, with Bridget (the bridge-bot, duh!) impersonating the Matrix user and writing the message on Discord.

Neat, isn't it?
