@garritfra Given that I know the town where you're living and I also sold my car in 2021, I totally support your goal of selling your car as well! Sign up for Sheepersharing.com, get a bike (or Pedelec) and maybe also a Bahncard and your good to go 😉 There's also a great book by @heibie "Einfach autofrei leben".

@jle@garritfra as someone who doesn't even have a driving licence, I support this decision. I don't think I'll be driving any time soon, it just isn't worth it :)
@kytta@jle@garritfra I have a driving license that I used 2 times in 3 or 4 years. Got it more out of social and family pressure but I never had the need to drive. Now I have a document that proves that I’m supposed to be able to drive when I’m definitely not comfortable with it. If I ever need to drive, I’ll need to retake some lessons 🥲
