#London folks! Please set aside July 13th on your calendar: I’ll be giving a Lifehouse talk at the Design Museum, with drinks afterward. It’d be wonderful to see you there. Details to follow.
A disingenuous man tries to tell us that Diane Abbott is both expelled and a part of the Labour Party, in some Schrodinger's state of confusion.
Going to be grand with this guy running the country, isn't it? /s
I rode the newest-born of #London’s underground lines, the Elizabeth this morning. Impressively modern design, wide, comfortable cars, automatic operation, and fast—about 25 minutes from Paddington to Heathrow…🧵
Labour doesn't know what to do, they hate Diane Abbott but losing another seat to an independent in London would look bad. It won't effect their chances of Government but these are vain, public-school boys and they have to WIN (especially against a Black Lady...)
I took a ride on the Mail Rail in #London. An alternative electric Underground that carried packages + letters through 9 miles of tunnels beneath the streets, from 1926 to 2003… 🧵
Don't forget that tomorrow from 10:00-15:00, a bunch of roads around central #London are all closed off to cars, so if you want to go for a lovely ride along the Thames and past St Paul's and all that, it's a great day to do it: https://www.ridelondon.co.uk/our-rides/ridelondon-freecycle
@fehrtrade thank you! I am both nervous and excited! I haven't had time to do any practice rides because of All The Life Things so... fingers crossed I can make it to the end =)
Jeremy Corbyn will be trying to retain his seat without #Labour behind him. He's standing as part of 'The Collective' (which is probably not an intentional Star Trek reference, but who knows) along with candidates standing in 3 other #London seats.
@PoliceStateUK He will have many supporters from his constituency and outside willing to canvass for him. I suspect he will win this particular battle.
