An electrical appliance in our kitchen refused to work for several days.
When all attempts to fix it had failed, we somewhat reluctantly acknowledged the presence of the Trickster archetype, which has the power to disrupt or ‘overthrow programs’ (according to Jung and Campbell).
The appliance now works.
Caution: Individual results may vary, (as they say on TV).
Hello friends, I hope you're all having a good Hump Day! Mine is pretty good, I'm off work. We bought a new stove today with delivery this coming Saturday. It was under $1k for the stove, delivery and hauling away the old one. It could have been worse, my wife loved this BlueStar commercial model, it was on sale for $10k...
Have a great afternoon, I'm off to help my wife with a project.
“Once electrified, these #ConnectedHome#appliances hold huge potential to facilitate a more reliable and efficient #ElectricGrid – this is critical during a time when the #ClimateCrisis is already pushing it to its limits,” - Julia Y.
@drvolts - in case you hadn't caught today's launch announcement I suspect you may cover this on the Volts podcast sooner than later. Definitely follow @rklau
Here in Phoenix, we are waiting for our local utility to engage on a broader set of smart devices like EV chargers, heat pump water heaters, solar inverters, etc. Currently #ArizonaPublicService will "talk" to a smart thermostat during peak demand windows but hoping they will expand their connectability to addtl devices soon.
One dream that came true this time at #Pilchuck for me was to have a fruit party! I just started eating fruit this month and it's a whole new world! I also love the idea of making craft appliances that can act as functional sculptures.
